IGNIS and CSOT collaborate on developing AMOLED Display

Waterloo, Canada – May 20, 2014 — Shenzhen China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (CSOT) and IGNIS Innovation Inc. (IGNIS) announced today that they will collaborate on developing a 5.5-inch HD AMOLED Mobile Display. The display will be based on manufacturing capability and fabrication technology of CSOT and IGNIS MaxLife™ Lite driving scheme.

CSOT has demonstrated its capability in manufacturing AMOLED displays for mobile applications using LTPS backplanes. In addition, the IGNIS MaxLife Lite driving scheme, offers high yield, low cost, low-power consumption, and long life which can enable fast production ramp-up of LTPS AMOLED Displays for Mobile applications.

IGNIS and CSOT believe the unique combination of their technologies will set a significant milestone for AMOLED Mobile production.
